President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee worked with Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises
(VINASME) - On 14th June, 2014, in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Member of the Political Bureau and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee visited and worked with Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME).
(VINASME) - On 14th June, 2014, in Hanoi, Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan, Member of the Political Bureau and President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) Central Committee visited and worked with Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME).
Present in this session, from VFF side, were Vice President Ha Thi Lien, Ms. Le Ba Trinh, Ms. Bui Thi Thanh and some leaders from Central Department of Propaganda and Education and Department of Personnel and Organization.
From VINASME, the participants were President Cao Si Kien, Vice Presidents, members of Permanent Committee, and leaders of related Boards and institutions. Besides, there were representatives from different media like Viet Nam Television (VTV), VITV Television, Viet Nam News Agency, Đai Đoan Ket, Unit Paper, People Paper, and central and local communication agencies.

Mr To Hoai Nam, Vice President of VINASME, stated that: “activities of VINASME are now gradually covering a national scale widely and deeply, direct enterprises development trends based on deeply understanding of their activities and changes in various industries; meet the needs of development of members on joint investment, legal support and human resource development; replicate the models in microfinance, education & training, business consulting, integrity, information, market, advertising , event …”.
“…The position and role of VINASME as the representative of Vietnam’s Small and Medium Enterprises communities is increasingly becoming essential. Despite many challenges, we still get good results in the following aspects: contributing in strengthening the position of Small and medium Enterprises for the progress of the economic development of the country, implementing policies of the Communist Party and Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front on nation unity, and encouraging enterprises to support charitable social activities”.
“On the occasion of New South China sea dispute, during the Conference of Small and Medium Enterprises from 22 Northern provinces in Tuyen Quang on 17th May, 2014, VINASME released “The Resolution on New South China Dispute of Vietnam’s Small and Medium Enterprise community” to direct enterprises and members to keep calm and totally believe in policy and direction of the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam, motivate them in maintaining production, and expressing nationalism in a legal way. We also called for action in enlightening international community to support Vietnam in this dispute. VINASME, Vietnam’s People Navy and some center and local organizations jointly held a visit to a group of 180 enterprises, leaders and people located in the Spratly and Paracel Islands from 28th May to 6th June, 2014…”.
During the discussion session, some delegates also expressed their expectation concerning the Communist Party and the State of Vietnam that should give more deeply and clearly concern to VINASME, and make good condition for enterprises in accessing capital and credit.

Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan appreciated VINASME’s efforts and stated that Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front was the link to transfer messages from Vietnam’s Small and Medium enterprises to Communist Party and the State quickly and strongly.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan suggested that the two sides should sign an agreement on the co-operation in conducting the Campaign: ”Vietnamese use Vietnamese products”. In July, 2014, there will be a conference on carrying out Exchange products project of whom the representatives come from the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front, VINASME, Ministry of Industry and Trade, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and The Vietnam Cooperative Alliance.
In 2009, Government released the Decree No. 56/2009/NĐ-CP on assisting Small and Medium Enterprises in development. Mr. Nguyen Thien Nhan suggested that VINASME should propose to the Prime Minister to evaluate the effectiveness of this Decree after 5- year implementation.
President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee also received some recommendations and proposals from VINASME for settlement in near future.
