Commencement of the construction of "free guest house" at the Truong Son National Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery
(VINASME) – On the 71st founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army on December 22nd, 2015, in Truong Son National patriotic martyrs cemetery, Quang Tri province, there was a groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of "free guest house " by the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (VINASME) in collaboration with "Forever 20" Fund.
Participants from Central authorities were Mr. Le Ba Trinh - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front; Mr. Le Ngoc Hoan - Former Minister of Transportation, one of the historical witnesses and pioneers in the Army constructing Ho Chi Minh legendary Road; Mr. To Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman And General Secretary of VINASME; Mr. Đoan Sinh Huong - The Chairman of "Forever 20" Fund.
Participants from local authorities were Mr. Nguyen Huu Dung - Member of Provincial Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Quang Tri province; Mr. Nguyen Danh Bao - Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front province; Mr. Ho Hai Đang - Provincial Commissioner, Secretary of the provincial Party of enterprise sector; Mr. Thai Van Thinh - Vice Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Mr. Tran Tuan Anh - Deputy Director of Provincial Department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs; along with donors, entrepreneurs, enterprises, and hundreds of Veterans from all over the country, and many central and local journalists.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. To Hoai Nam - Vice Chairman And General Secretary of VINASME, Head of the Organizing Committee – delivered an opening remarks.
"... After a period of time of deploying and campaigning, the construction work is supported by leaders, former leaders of Communist Party, of the State, of the Front, of the Departments and Ministry Associations and Unions, of Quang Tri province and of the Board of Managers of the Truong Son Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery, together with thousands of hearts of veterans, entrepreneurs, enterprises and all classes. So far, the work’s initial results are encouraging. On this 71st anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam People's Army, the Organizing Committee has decided to hold a groundbreaking ceremony for construction with the constructing scale on an area of more than 5 thousand m2, including the following items: reception house, guest house, house of gratitude, and other auxiliary construction items, with total expenditure estimated at 20 billion. The highlight of the construction is that it was designed and built entirely on the surface of the ground without serious impact to the earth so that the quiet atmosphere of this sacred place, and it is also designed to help the invalids travel convenient ... ". On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Mr. To Hoai Nam recognized and showed his gratitude towards the support and collaboration of units, organizations and individuals in terms of assisting this construction work.

Before breaking the ground and starting work, the delegates had an Incense and flowers offering ceremony at the Monument of the heroic patriotic matyrs and watched the documentary on entrepreneurs and enterprises’ movement, along with activities to show gratitude to the heroic martyrs.
